anybody know the difference/ pros and cons of each they look almost alike? |

also i have an old SCAT distributor with points if anybody knows anything/specs about those and whether or not anybody makes a electronic kit for them and spare caps and rotors? it looks like the mallory one on scats website and probably is just with a scat tag on it, but since it appears to be an "older" distributor, i thought i would ask and see if anybody has had any experience with one |

050 has 27 degrees advance and 009 has 21 degrees advance 050 fully advances at a higher rpm 050 caps are getting harder to find but cb performance still sells them |

The 050 is the brazilian replacement for the 022 distributor that was in the 356 Porsche. They might be worth keeping and selling on a Porsche forum. Should be worth more than scrap. I've seen NOS ons advertised for$150.00. |

The Pertronix unit from the 050 will fit the 009. |
