My Pertronics ii dissy has 78 possible curve set ups. 3 sets of springs and 3 sets of limiters. I have 2 different charts for matched sping values but dont know where I want it to come in. The limiters have values of 12*, 16* and 20*, can't sees as I want any of those if 30*-32* at 3,00 RPM is proper setting. Engine is 2276cc, 9.25:1 compression balanced to 8,000 rpm. 5,500 - 6,000 is about where I keep the peddle planted. This is a trail buggy and can't always go that fast.

What fuel are you runing . If you are runing 93 or better I woud try 12* deg. & med. to litte spring & all in at 3000 rpms 30 to 35 max. You need to play with this to fit your driveing & eng combo.

Thanks. Am running straight premium. I'll try that set up too. I also know that electronic ignitions should run bigger plug gaps, but I could n't hardly get it to run at any more than 35. A mechanic friend has lent me the use of some old dinousar box that among other things can test voltage out put of ignition system. So I can test each lead while running. Should be 45,000 volts, I don't think it's even close .
