Have any of you guys ever wrapped your header with exhaust wrap before? I know it helps when a motor is under a hood or enclosed but i was curious if it would help on a buggy motor?

I used some on my 2.2 to keep from melting my belt cover. Worked great for that.

Jeff is right. I've heard it will rust out your header pretty quick. Guess you could unwrap it after a ride to let it dry. I had to wrap a small section of header on my wife's buggy, Im afraid to unwrap it cuz I think there will be nothing there....pipe gone
