I have 33x10.50 boggers, they hook good (well fling alot of s@#$). Will I sacrifice my axles, cv, tranny to take the small lugs off? I'm not a primary hill climber, lets face it I have a non stroker 4 seater with heavy (but nice) coilovers. The more traction the better but I don't want to replace parts every weekend. |

I have not run uncut Boggers so I have no empircal data to pull from. However they are a very stiff tire and do not flex with out at least cutting some meat off between the lugs and sidewalls. I will also say that they are a very heavy tire and removeing the little lugs and additional meat will make them lighter and less burdon on the drive train and of cource give you a lot better performance. Every pound you are rotating equates to 50 pounds of spinning mass. If your happy with the way they perform then leave them alone. |

Cutting tires Pro's and cons. Pro's 1 Less weight means less stress on Drive train 2 Less weight means less strain on your engine 3 Cut tires will flex and get better traction 4 Cutting small lugs off will remove weight and make larger cleanouts for better traction. Con's 1 Cut boggers will not be street legal. 2 Small lugs cut off will increase the chance of ripping off a large lug. 3 ?????? ok I don't have a third. |

I had a feeling thats the response I was going to get... I might do a little trimming, Its hard to cut up new tires. I think I was always going to cut them but I needed a little peir pressure/support |
