In my never ending quest to spend money on my buggy, I was thinking of getting some new tires and I wanted to get your input. I currently have too many different tires and I would like to get a single set of good all around tires. I think VTreads are amazing when climbing. But I would like to have a taller tire for trail riding. Here is what I am thinking about doing.. I would like to buy a set of 35X14 boggers and mount them on my double beadlock aluminum wheels. They only problem is that the wheels are 16x7. Since the wheels are double beadlocked, do you think the Boggers will bubble out and still work well on the narrow wheels? Thanks for the input.. |

My buggy came with 35x14.50x15 Boggers on 8' wheels. I never rode with them on the 8” wheels but they were ballooned and tall. When I mounted them on 14” wheels they measure 32-1/2” tall. Don’t allot of the guys from GA run them on narrow wheels? Plumberbill has a set of 35x16x15 boggers on 12" wheels and they were 2” taller than mine. |

35x10.50-16 should be ok on a 7" rim |

Thats too much of a mismatch. There is no advantage other than you have the rims and all dissadvantages. Because we need to run very low pressure in the woods the tires will tend to move side to side on the rim centers folding over exposing the sidewalls to to rocks etc. The Buggy will have a mushy and unstable feeling. |
