Thanks Rick, I appreciate it! Hope they bite good for ya, Marty. And thanks to you too bucky, you're right, it's a complete waste of time cutting tires if you dont cut em to the chords. They're 6 plies, they got plenty there. We cut 4 ply firestones just as far down and have no problems with them. -Dakotah/koko |

Haha I hear ya Marty. I hate to see it go, but if the tranny does break, that tells me I done good on cuttin em. Seriously though, I think it'll be fine. -Dakotah/koko |

Nice, I have way more cords showing than that Did you spend the 900 on a Weddle R&P? What are you going to grind on them? |

I am using a midshift 4.86 R&P,,,in combination with 1.5 reduction with sprockets,,making my diff 7.29 with weddle 1st, 2nd, (3.11/2.36) and 3rd (1.58),,,with stock 4th,, and I want to smooth out the lugs where I cut some back side clearance with a sawzall,,thats all |

I made a hole in my bogger that took a whole pack of extra long plugs to patch good enough to make it back to camp..... now it is fixed,,took it to a truck tire center in town,,they sent it off and it came back fixed.

nitro_mudder wrote: Had a chance to try em Marty? And if so, how did you like em? I am very pleased with them,,KOKO rocks,, at D&K Halloween I never regretted not running my Vtreads...but remember my buggy is heavy,,long,,and weird. Vtreads are an awesome tire for buggys that can creat wheel speed,,my buggy is too heavy. My boggers suit my buggy very well,,,now I need to learn to drive,,and get better brakes for stopping the bigger tires |

Just remember, those kick ass KYBuggies we saw this weekend were not the first draft. I'm sure they have been refining them for years into the wicked buggies they have become. |
