I recently purchased a vucanizing compound to repair 3 holes sustained in one of my rear tires at Wellsville. This compound is a life saver for off road tires. One of my holes in the side wall was a 1/4" gap by 1" long. After 48 hours of set time I put it on the rim and pressureized it high enough to seat the bead and its held fine. So whats that tell you about the product. The problem with this batch is the Expiration date is 6/09 meaning it needs to be used soon. It worked fine on my tire however by the next time I will need it it will probably be unusable. Well at least I am hoping I dont need it for awhile |
