Anybody using this size. Opions please. They dont seem to make a 12.5 wide in the 35" tall Bogger. I dont think a 14 wide will fit on my Buggy with out rubbing. |

my buddy runs the 12.50 33's work good. I think a 35 is to big, and a 35x14.50 is HEAVY I forget exact numbers but around 60-70lbs? But the 33's are the same height as a 31, 35's same as 33 and so on. (I think even the 14.50's are only really 3/4 inch wider tread than the 12.50 you just get a bigger width where the rim goes in. I can measure all this and confirm for you if you like. What about less offset that will keep it out the buggy and from rubbing. |

I would have to relocate the center section on my wheels to get less offset. That would not be an easy task. I also do not want to get different wheels after all the effort put into the Beadlocks. I am confused on your OD number comparision. The specs on the tires put them pretty muck at 33 = 33 and 35 = 35. |

Even though thats what they say a 33 is only 31 tall when it comes to boggers. You can take a 31 vtread and a 33 bogger and sit them side by side and they are damn near exact same height. I forgot all about you beadlocks you had made. |

I just measured mine and they're darn close to 33" on a 10" rim. Also ody, I've been thinking about getting rid of mine for a set of 33x10.50 |

i run the 16/35,they are 35+ on 12 inch wheels, when the 35/14.50s get a little wear on them they are not as tall,33s are the same,u can put a new set of 16/35s beside a set of 35/14.50,the 16 wide are 2 inchs taller |

so they must have corrected height issues with the new runs of boggers? i think 16 wide is a fairly new tire isn't it? |

Get the hot knife out or you’ll hate them. Bill has my grinder for the side walls if you go that rout.. |

I agree these tires are worthless with out cutting them. They are way to stiff. I have Bills cutter to take care of the lugs and thread area. I did not know he had your grinder. |

exactly how are yall cutting these boggers???????? and what are you using to do the job??????????? I got a buddy who uses a wood chisel and a little heat from a handheld propane torch to cut the small lugs and he does a pretty durn good job as they almost look like they were made that way .......... but this does nothing to soften the tire especially the sidewalls...... |

Curious why you did not leave the small outrigger lugs in place? I would think they would help on off camber trails. |

I thought he said everything from the outside of the big and medium lug down and he meant everything from the side lugs down. |

OK, I am leaving the ones on for the large and medium lug. I have cut the smallest lug and their outrigger lugs off. They are too small to have to cut around and will be torn off anyways. |

I imagine the the advantage from losing that much more weight and gaining even more flex makes up for a little loss of grip on the side. Boggers are notoriously heavy, and the Vtreads dont have side lugs,,,do they?,,, |

I would think the "V" treads give you better off camber stability due to the angle and the length of the lugs . Boggers dont have either traits so the outrigger lugs are all you have left to aid in the off camber situation. These are just opinons with no empircal data to back them up. |

I run a set of 33x12.50x15 boggers, and love 'em! I thought mine were about 32-3/4" tall on 7" BTR beadlocks. I know one thing for sure, I have them on steel wheels now, and screw my back up every time I pick 'em up! |
