I'm on the hunt for a "Streetable" front mud tire. And they make the trepador in a radial (as well as a BP), but they have a 205-70-15, or so the website says, finding one might be a different story. ![]() Any other good mt front tires that you can recommend? Rims are only 5" (X 15). My dealer can't get the Nankang N704 (7.00x 15 BP) I don't think I want to go as tall as a 235/75 which would be about 29" tall and 9.25" wide, and maybe taller stuffing them on that skinny wheel, I'm runnin' 31/10.5's on back. Any suggestions? I've been bangin' my head on the wall trying to find something...snow tires might be my only out, I guess I could cut and or groove them. |

You just wanted an excuse for showin' that picture!!! Problem is here in the states everybody thinks fatter is better ('cept for chicks, go figure). I'm gonna look into the power kings and the STA traxions next...and maybe find another tire guy I live in a town of 1800 pp and we have six tire shops. Options are out there. I think the Maxxis will cut into my kids' lunch money too much. |

Superb tyres if you can find someone to ship you some. M/T tyre with the grip and road manners of an A/T |

Sears has those Kuhmo KL71 tires all the way down to 235/75/15 on their website for 139 a tire. Think I found fronts for my buggy for street. Thanks PhillipM. |

No problem, I think you'll like them, fairly quiet on the street (for a mud tyre) with those long centre blocks. |

If the lugs are too close together it will pick up mud and HOLD it in there and you will go absolutely NOWHERE!Keep that in mind.A big belt of mud and rocks will build and stay around it.Don't listen to tire salesmen. Every tire is a good tire to them.I run Buckshot Maxis Mudders on all my dailey driver trucks and they are absolutly AWESOME!And last a LONG time!On and off road they are perfect. |
