2692064 LH and 2692065 RH

Carquest numbers.

E262L and E262R

Wish I would have listened to Mike the first time I got new ends. Heim joints are cheap and much easer to install. No need to find a tapered reamer with heim joints. I think I spent $15.00 each for ¾ heims with 5/8 misalignment spacers off ebay. When I bought the ends from crapzone I think they cost $35 each and broke one the first 10min out.

this is going to sound stupid but the misalignment spacer is this a spacer to fit a 5/8 bolt and then go inside the hiem as a bushing?chad

I've heard that you should place over-sized washers out side your hiem joints. Just incase they fail, (espesialy if they are on your tie rods) That way tie rod can't come all the way off, and still offer some control.

Ok my new tie rods should be here tomorrow, Thanks Davis . So I need to get some IH ends. The guys at Advanced Auto are very nice, but not always alot of help with random parts. If I can get Make, Model and year of a vehicle then they can help. So any part of the equasion you guys can help with would be appriciated, if no luck I'll be callin you in the morning Rick Also need to reem my VW/S-10 pitman arm to fit these, where should I look for a reemer?

Check your local buggy/vw shop. They usually have IH in stock.

Closest is almost 2 hrs away. 2nd closest is by you. Found them through autozone, will be here tuesday. I'm not in buggy territory.

Here are some with spacers built in and Static Radial Load Capacity 30,290 lbs. The ones I bought were 9000 load rating so these should do the trick. http://www.mcmaster.com/#6960t41/=5oz113 But then again my cheap ebay ones have survived 4 hard rollovers so far

Brad is right if a heim were to fail it will break either at the end of the male threads or the loop around the ball. A washer wouldn't help in either case. Get a good set of chromolly heims and steel swedged drag links and forget about it.
