I was in TSC the other day and came across some trailer fenders, bought 2 and this is what I've started. I'm using 1/2" conduit, but the finale will be either 1/2" flat or 1/2" solid round. I'm going more for the round. I can get a welding shop to heat up the ends and flatten them like the conduit centered or offset. Tony ![]() ![]()

My wife has asked me about puttin some on hers. I thought about plastic dirtbike fenders, the metal could cut a tire bad if when it gets bent, but them dirtbike fenders aint cheap! |

I looked at the same ones last week in TSC. If you can make a tube frame with a cpl triangles you might be ok, maybe. Or some form of spring release. I.M.H.O. I think you would be better off with a mount to the frame that is solid. No reason to worry about the mud that sprays away from the buggy. Unless you ride on the treebars like I did last weekend. |

I'm just going to use use them when my wife & I go riding she's tired of the mud hitting her more than me. I told her I could get the 3 rib tires which would probably be cheaper in the long run. I drove down the road and there was a lot of shaking going on. Tony |

on this buggy, he used inner fender well from an old '79 chevy pickup truck, cut it in two, and put one on each side. it kinda looks like fenders from a honda odessy dave

there is one running around here,he has the bottom cut out of a plastic 55 gal drum, one bottom would make 4 front fenders,,you would never know it was a drum but u can see where it says 10 gal,20 gal,on the sides |

avoid the 3 ribs they really throw mud. the mud peels off and lands in chunks . |
