This was my first jig. It's 2-1/4" longer by 1" wider. A couple things to remember is on king/link the bottom arm is wider than the top arm. I think its about 5/16 or so, I can't remeber. Also, be sure you line everything up and measure well. When I made these arms, I tacked the top plate real well before removing it from the jig and tacked everything to gether and placed it back on the jig to make sure nothing moved. If I made any more arms I would Probly use a link pin in place of the bolt and use a piece of tubing with a bushing to hold the arm. (just like the front beam) When I made the jig I welded the bolt to the angle and bolted it to a stock arm and into the piece of angle on top. I made a line off the angle on the bolted end which was used a a reference line to make 2-1/4" x 1" . You may not need new tie rods but will use alot of adjustment.Hope this helps. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I wouldn't agree. Did your jig get the job done? Then it's good enough. |
