ordered a bender from afordable benders today. anything i should expect? any issues with this bender? got 1 1/2" on 7" radius and 1" on 5" radius dies. should be able to put me some tree bars and a bumper together now. |

If you have never used a bender before take some scrap tubing and make a 90, 45, and 23 1/2 bends marking where the shoe starts then you will know how much the tube stretches/ grows it will save you wasting tubing. Also this may sound stupid but if you don't know which I didn't the mig weld ears have a material thickness chart to give you settings. |

ive bent tubing before but with a tottaly diferent bender and its been a while. any sugestions on a low buck notcher? |

The harbor freight ones work well with a few minor mods like adding a nut before you attach the hole saw. I have a protocol notcher in Florida. The practice bend will hep you learn the new bender as they all bend a little different. Just a trick I learned from an old guy. Just passing it on |

I bought a notcher from fastanal for over $125 it's the same dam thing as harbor freight for $ 25 Mine does not center on the tubing well at all . Hope this helps Can u put air over hydrolic on the affordable bender ? |
