Call Tim at Southern Buggies. He will either have them or know where you can get some.

I was pointed in the direction of drews but I don't think they can get the double sheered... Is there any more options out there?

If you can weld just buy the single shear and take a short chunk of tube and cut the side out so the heim can pivot. Then weld it to the torsion plate and then cap the tube end and drill a hole in it. Double shear.

I'm a big proponent of double shear but I have never read of anyone having a failure on the single shear plates available everywhere.

i bought the dres ones first and bent them all to hell....went with the appletree this time...not double shear but they are nice and thick and a good foundation to start with

Ive never read of any problem with the single shear "plate" because it doesn't break, the heim joint does lol

The plate doesn't break but it will bend. When the bolt boss bends it makes it so the axle needs to be shorter. The arm WILL move towards the inside of the car the Axle WILL hit both the drive flange and the stub axle causing big problems.
If you know someone that is breaking heims, tell them to quit buying the cheap ones. They aren't saving any money when you need to keep replacing them. I ran the same heims on my car for years, I wore them out, never broke one.

Nice try, do you know what a good buddy is?
You will have to wait just like everyone else for me to finish my car. Besides I don't have any more material to make them now.
