I have 2.5" X 1" longer front arms set up for through bolts. Damd, tires rub on them and I'd like to have tighter steering yet. The center rack would turn further even at 1 turn lock to lock. Was wondering if any one has drilled out the ends of the arms and then welded a recessed plate in side. If I did, do you think it would weeken the arms any? Thanks. |

Are you talking about doing a counter bore to move the through rod nuts into the main arm pivot? My first answer would be Yes it would weaken them considerably. What offset wheel are you using? Might try to find a smaller offset wheel? Other than that, you reached max turning radius, congratulations. |

I have aftermarket steel wheels, don't know the offset. Thought they were same as stock. I have some stock rims I'll have to find tires for and try them. I need spares any way.Thanks. |
