Well I had posted this already and I deleted it hitting the wrong tab so here is goes again.

I have my frame from Predator Buggies and I have to say thank you to Jeff he is a great guy and I owe him a lot. I have been sanding and getting the buggy and primed. Hope to paint it sometime in the next week if all goes well. I have added the seat mounts, but don't know where I am going to put the gas tank or my light tabs. I hope to be able to get a floor in it soon to, have to save some money up for that one.

Here is a link to all the pictures that I have taken so far. Its coming along but I am going to take my time and get everything figured out where its going to go. I have the shifter rod to make, the cutting brake mount to make and weld in. Trying to get all the welding stuff done before it goes to paint. Still haven't decided on where to put the light tabs for brake and head lights. Have decided to paint it Silver Metalic with a flake over coat talk about blinging. It will look sharp for about the first 20 minutes on the first ride then it will be scratched up and dented probably. Still havent decided where to put the electrical box and switches.

During the rail today I got the floor sheeting and now ready to lay out the lines to cut it to fit the frame. Thats going to be a fun job. Have to run the tubes for clutch cable and throttle cables and then mount for the cutter brakes then off to paint. Maybe soon it will be running and ready for a test ride.

Floor installed today and the shift rod built and adjusted up. Light tabs welded on not sure if I will have brake lights or not yet. Going to install everything and test it then tear it apart for paint. I do need to get new brake lines for it and I should be good to ride soon.

UPDATE: Got to work on the buggy this weekend with the help from Glassman. I got the floor cut and drilled on Saturday, along with the shift rod being made. After a short trip to the ER with my son getting stung Saturday evening. He is ok now, just allergic to stings is all. Sunday I managed to get the seats installed, flooring all bolted in and looking to where my cutting brakes will sit.
SO here my question. How far from your shifter should I put the cutting brakes? I got some pictures to of the progress.

Update: Well I have been busy to say the least on the buggy. When I have had free time I have been working on it. I have installed the floor the read deck and gas tanks mounted. The cutting brakes have been mounted to. I like where everything is at and the looks of it, SO I took it all apart and ready to start painting it this week if I can get a break in the weather and it warms up some. The only thing that I haven't done was the wiring but that can be done after paint and running the throttle and clutch cable tubes. The only thing that I need is some shocks to go all the way around the buggy. I hope to be able to ride soon.
Pictures will be posted after its painted.

Well this is what all I was able to get done today. I painted the tranny and pin striped it.
Then sanded and cleaned the frame then painted it. So I didn't get much done, well sort of anyways.

I got the floor back under it the seats installed the pedals and cutting brake handles, shifter and shift rod installed. The motor and tranny are in and bolted down. All I have to do is the wiring and running the cables for throttle and clutch tomorrow and then Monday if the parts I ordered are in I will have the wiring done. Also have to redo the brake lines.

Post subject:  Re: Time to start building

Well I should be able to start it tomorrow after church if all goes well. I have the motor back together with only a few changes in plans. Valves adjusted, oil back in it. Battery is installed and ready to be hooked up, the only wiring I have to do is for the headlights. Two wires and that will be done so no biggy. I have to take the gas can tomorrow to church with us to get some gas and it should be running. Going to get some cleaner and redo my CV's and clock them again to make sure that they are done. Only major thing that I want to do is adjust the torsion again its not set right for the new frame. I can't wait to drive this thing tomorrow afternoon.
