In your all's opinion what is the easiest and most cost effective way to respray my buggy. The color I have on it now is yellow, but I was wanting to go red, and black out my wheels. |

The brush on stuff is good I've also heard good things about the tsc paints or any of the por15 products but its pricey I sprayed my brothers with sherwin williams genesis and mine is uteck its another industrial single stage there all tuff as nails however if i didn't have access to a paint booth and mixing system I'd be brushing mine are u starting from bare metal or sanded paint |

That turned out nice! And it's fully painted as of right now...I still have to sand it. Is there any good way to go about sanding because it seems like that's gonna be the pain I the ass all the way around. And does that tractor paint require primer underneath? It couldn't hurt it I suppose for the sake of rust. |

sanding will be a pain in the ass, i would say using a angle grinder with a wire wheel should do the job. |

Mine was a combination of paint and bare tubing. I just scuffed it with scotch bright first and between coats |

I sandblasted mine before and said I wouldn't ever do that again. Round tube is a pain. I will just save up and let someone else blast and powder coat mine. 325.00 in Memphis tn. That's cheap to me for all the work |

My opinion if its not bare metal it doesn't need primer however if you have larger areas of bare metal I'd rattle can some sort of metal etch primer on it just for luck can't hurt. I'd run over your frame with like 220 or 180 sandpaper and sand out the heavy scratches and for the rest just take a red scotchbrite to it all and u can use a little reducer or laquer thinner on your red scuffy it will soften up the old paint a little let it dry and scuff easier then slap the paint to it and a fair warning leave the garage door open and a fan won't hurt or else you may get a bit loopy |
