Post subject:  Bshimmel's constant rebuild

This is what I started with back in february first things I started off with were new tree bars and x brace the stuff I cut out was made from conduit

Fixed the tie rod problem and rode it most of summer then had to replace the motor and get the trans rebuilt at the same time it has a 2.2 subaru with a 6 rib

Swithced to a set of mad mikes 2x3s and getting his torsion eliminators and putting coil overs on it

Looks nice like the rear cage on it now I know when I had it I got carried away with cutter brake when I first put it in and slid the back right around into a tree and put a tweek to it

The whole back of the frame being tweaked was part of the reason I was doing this it bothered me

I hear ya I wanted to do something with it too but at the time I had it I didn't have a welder bender or funds too do it I like what you have done with it though what did you do with the sawyer arms they still straight and good?

I broke the passenger arm but i got it straght and rewelded but I have no use for them

Elminators installed and my limit straps setup figured out my wheel travel and I wanna order my coil overs soon just need to weigh the car. Does anyone know where I could find scales?

Are there any circle tracks around you?
If so there should be a local race car shop around, those guys usually have them.
