When you find that secret hiding spot, let us all know about it!! If you dont find it, just get a set of 8 plies and let my boy put his special cut on them. You wouldnt believe the hook, and the rotating weight can be made up by machining and drilling your rotors, etc. And you wont have to worry about flats ever again. If your wheel has a nice wide inner bead area, and a beadlock on the outside, you can run them with no air. He keeps about a pound and a half in his. I'll not spend more than the price of new 8 plies for a set of new 4 plies again. 8 plies have taller lugs, too, once cut. This cut he puts on them lets them flex damn near as well, and his personal pair is getting softer with every ride. Watch the Hillclimb videos when they get posted. Watch the red inline two seater with the little feller driving it. He hooks awesome, and its not due to a lack of power to spin them. He's pushing a fairly heavy buggy with them, too. (They scoop up rocks and sling 'em pretty good, too Larry |

l.a. products in akron has the 4 ply goodyears. they used to be 160-170 each as i recall. i just bought firestone 23deg 8ply.(204.00 mounted) cut 10lbs per tire. i dont beleve firestone makes them in 4 ply (anymore?) i checked the internet and my tire guy checked his suppliers and did not have any luck. now that i have the 8 ply i wish ied never waisted my money on the 4 plys in the past. they hook alot better,(when cut) the sidewalls are much beefer. i have ruined brand new 4 ply tires because of thin sidewalls. |
