That's awesome Dean, you lucky dog! I always wanted to go to Glamis. I have some friends in Ca that go every year. I used to look through all their pics and always wanted to go see it in person. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx7S-dYamkY Here's a short video of a trophy truck. My good buddy is part of the chase team for them and I also know the driver. Not the guy driving in the video, but the actual race driver. They keep trying to get me to come out to a race and ride in one of the chase trucks. I haven't been able to yet, but some day I will. The driver has (had?) a kickass rail buggy he used to race. It's got a 2.8 liter (I think) outboard boat engine on it. I have a few pics of it somewhere, but they'll need to be scanned and that's only if I can find them. It's been a few years since I've seen the rail and to be honest I'm not sure if he still has it. It was definitely one of a kind and definitely badass! It was featured in HotVW's in the early 90's, but that was before he put the outboard engine on it. -Steve |

We're going to Glamis in April, we're going to rent quads for a couple of days. Been wanting to go there since I was a kid, actually doing it, finally! It seems like its all wheelies and going fast, but, gotta try it once! |
