Hello everyone. I am new to the site and I thought I would drop a line to introduce myself. I dont have a buggy yet, but I am working on that! I have been into dragracing, dirtbike riding off-road, and Mustangs for a long time. I would love to get a 4-seat buggy like a Berrien 4105 or something like it. I dont know much about them, so thats why I am here. I have a Ford 2.3 turboed longblock from Esslinger that I would like to use, but I dont know if most buggies can be set-up for the Ford or just certain models. I might sell it and buy a VW engine, but my comfort level with the 2300 Ford is very high. Anyway, thanks for a great site. Dave Rogers Van Buren, AR |

Welcome to the site. You have come to the right place for information. The Esslinger motor you have will work fine in a buggy. If you are comfortable with that, by all means use it! Roy |
