The ones that are shorter that you have to use a spacer with are for swing axles. The splines strip out after 30 or so rides. I just stripped my 2nd at $90+ each, plus have to go back and get 2 more at the same price. Make sure you get the ones for IRS. They are 3/4" longer. My stub axle had to carry the extra load and it sheared off right where the spacer ring went. And yes, the axle nut was tight. More Chinese Cheese. $80x4 plus shipping, plus a bus drilled stub axle.... I love my other buggies from Pull a Part 8) . Plus the pain of ruining my day and getting drug out of the woods and going home. Fun fun! German steel rules! Stop building your buggies straight off the UPS truck!

Just get an early VW 4 lug drum put it on a lathe cut it down to fit a Ford crown Vic front rotor and you will not strip a hub again

Hi Red B. I understand all the rotors that will go with a turned down hub. I bought this buggy and it was already set up for these rotors. I am just trying to forewarn anyone who walks up trying to use these. The old 280Z rear rotors were always my favorite. Thanks so much for your input.

Passat, I understand where you are coming from. Some guys have not seen my millions of photos just thought I would share. I just found that if it came from Volkswagen originally that the castings are much stronger. I love your jyd buggies
