im right there with you ridenrace. the things they are putting on cars today is making my job as a technician extremely difficult these days. dont get me wrong i love a good challenge but why the hell do we need 12 different computers in one car? worked on an srt8 grand cherokee the other day that was randomly stalling.
after a week of beating my head against it I finally come to find the stupid ass high intensity blinky lights he had added to the vehicle were screwing with the "forward control module" and not allowing it to communicate with the 11 other computers. this lack of communication confused the whole system so much it just decided to reboot every time this happened. DUMB. when a module that controls exterior lights is able to wreck havick on the entire car we have takin technology too far
