I am thinking about buying a tubing bender and notcher. Affordable bender is about $340.00 with shipping don't look to bad for the price .Has anyone bought one and do they work very good . And they got a Notcher $189.00 Is the extra money worth it. I seen a eastwood notcher for $80.00 looks like it was nice. |

Bender sounds like a decent deal. The notcher is personal preference. I bought a Harbor Freight notcher and with a couple modifications it has actually worked quite well. I've notched a lot with it and it has held up considerably well. The Eastwood looks like a nice notcher for the price too. |

Mickeymouse bought one and he seemed to like it . The only thing I would invest in is a air over hydraulic ram . I bought my notcher from fasenal for 175 and it is pretty much identical to to harbor freight one ..... For 40 bucks |

The Affordable bender has been great. I highly recommend it. It is super easy to use and has worked very well. I do not build frames but I have added some extra supports and built some tree bars. I was very pleased with the construction and it can easily be moved around. The owner is really nice. He donated a bender to the Finally auction last year. If you buy one from Affordable Bender, please say "thanks" for supporting our site. |

I think it is a great tool if you are going to do add ons and modifications. I inspected the bender at the hill climb auction and the die was good quality and the construction was good as well. If you plan on building frames I would invest a little more money and get the ProTool Bender. I have their 105 series in storage and it really works great. I will say the air over hydraulic is a bit slow but I love it. here is the link http://www.pro-tools.com/product.aspx?zpid=347 |

I bought it last year and i love it!!! It is very easy to use i suggest adding a marker to see the angle better so that you can do multiple bends at the same angle, mount it to a solid surface because it does tip easy with long tubes in it and the hand pump works well I run 1 1/2 x .120 wall and pumps very easy i don't even suggest adding the air/hyd ram. |
