Need some ideas on what kind of paint you all like to use .. Like rattle can or single stage or fast dry enamel for trailers . Etc I'm not going to powder coat or base clear it for sure. I really don't want to etch prime it eather . Just shoot over bare metal. And ideas would be appreciated !

I'm wanting a super bright neon like green or blue

i would recomend the self etching primer if you want the paint to stick, and for paint i would use some sort of tractor, equipment, or trailer paint, since your not going with a base/clear, which i wouldnt do either. jmo

I used Tractor Supply paint on my dump bed and its been over a year of abuse with no problems. I used the catalyst that you can buy with the paint and also their primer. It was on a freshly sandblasted bed. Fairly cheap and seems to be really strong. Not sure if they have bright lime green though.

Try duplicolor paint shop you can order through Summit racing. You can get the color you want and it shouldn't be terribly expensive. Check it out

How is it holding up for you ? Is it fadeing badly , rusting under the paint ? I love that paint. In just wondering how thin it is etc ... How many cans does it take you for a full frame ? Sorry for all the questions 8) I think a paint gun would be easier to sprAy it .. I just need to stay in budget

tractor, truck, and implement paint from tractor supply is what i use. its cheap and all u have to do is throw a little hardener in it. it coats well and has a nice shine. but i have a buddy that refuses to use anything beside dollar store spray paint...
