i prefer 5 point with individual shoulder straps instead of the Y-type with the "pull down" adjusters, also i prefer the 3 in. over 2 in. and i would suggest getting some with shoulder pads also |

There shouldn't be a preference. 5 point should be a mandatory minimum along with the 3" straps. The 5th strap keeps the lap and shoulder belts in their proper location on you and keeps you from submarineing under the belts in a rollover. The 3" straps spreads out the load more on your body reducing injury and bruising to the skin. And the pads keep things comfortable and help minimize injury as well. The best pricing seems to be at Summit Racing |

My experience!.... My rail originally only had 4 points, When I bought new harness' I got 5's , never really wore the crotch belt, Rode with dave hix ONE time..With crotch belt on, Which he said was mandatory . Guess what?! After that I wont move the buggy without all 5, only having 4 just doesnt feel safe at all Never new til i rode with dave and felt the difference while climbing. I got 5 - 3" wide |
