Has anyone dealt with AJ regarding carb rebuild? Is so what was your experience?

Well its been 1Year and 2 months since AJ took my my Kaddies to rebuild. He started saying in May he was rebuilding them. Then with the last 3 weeks he was going to ship them.....every week that is...I was hoping to make it to Wind Rock to meet some of you guys but it looks like no Kaddies for me. I have a Weber I'm trying to dial in but if not I guess I will be on a motorcycle or ATV. If so bummer. But I still have a week to try getting the Weber to work. Acts like it's out of time. I've done everything..replaced dizzy, coil, plugs, wires, adjusted valves, fuel pressure, new fuel lines, filters. Cleaned carb, rejettted. I'm starting to redo everything again today. Oh well one way or another I should show up at Wind Rock  .

Snip a 1/2" off your plug wires and screw that spark plug cap back in regardless if they are new ,if they are Auto Zone.Check the timing statically with a test lite, motor off.Put a vacuum gauge on it.See ya at Wind Rock.

If you can get it on the trailer with the Weber I am sure some one up at Windrock can help you get her dialed in. I know it is my first trip and I look forward to meeting some of the good folks of Woods Buggy.

Sounds good Red. I believe I can do that. I wish I could find the Weber adjusting screw driver tool locally. That would help things a lot. That adjustment screw is such a bear to get to. ( Weber Progressive it is......for now anyway)

I have seen holes drilled in Fan Shrouds to solve that problem. Just make sure there isn't a oil cooler or fan in the way. I have a right angle screw driver in my box if all else fails (craftsmen).

If someone had my carbs for over a year I think I'd just have them ship them back...immediately! A lot of skilled people out there that can get them rebuilt and up and running. That's just crazy.
