Well I haven't really been here much lately. Been really busy with work and school but have been still reading. Well this year, all day every day i will be in a welding program. I doubled up on my classes last year so i could go to the vo-tech this year. The teacher is a no bs kinda guy, he tells it how it is and is a really great dude. Well i will have access to stick, mig and tig welding.Prolly about 15 welders all together.(A few multipurpose machines) And we aren't working with junk, MILLER all the way 8) . Also will have access to a few torch's and a 5x10ft cnc plasma cutter and a handheld plasma cutter. Also a few large bandsaws and presses. Well we all know what this means. FREE BUGGY PARTS!!!!   So yep, if you have any questions im sure i can ask my teacher and he can help your guys out too if your having problems. Just letting you guys know im still around and whats new.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm self taught and never feel that I'm all that good. I wish I would have taken some welding classes at some point. Learn all you can, it seems like an industry where there is always work. I'll be jealous of that CNC plasma table!

I know man! Its amazing, my buddy is cut large circles for his wheels so if he clips a rock hard enough it doesn't bend it. It is a piece of 1/8" steel that is placed sort of like a beadlock. He is just going to weld it on the inside (inside = part of wheel where the lug nuts are.). Its sorta like these beadlocks with out the beadlock lol. But he is going to put a few chevy insignia's in them. I will take some pics next time i get a chance.

He also cut out the inside of his wheel (lug pattern) and flipped it and welded it back inplace to give it a wider stance. He is building a Jeep for the races where im going to race.

I think im going to fab up a battery box since my old one got cut apart. I always liked Artec Industries battery boxes. http://www.artecindustries.com I'm sure i will come up with something pretty cool. Also wanted to make one of their fluid holders with the a cool Spade insignia in it.
