i think the rzrs are for sure really neat .a nice rzr and a real nice buggy a lot of money in both
put me on a hill with my wife what do i feel safe in a buggy no dought 
for trail riding i think a rzr is cool

I frequently search the internet for videos, info, and other stuff. As I search the world wide web, I see the razr modifications taking off at an amazing pace. You now have single seater razr's with modified motors and suspensions that will give any buggy a run for the money. In your opinion, Are the air/water cooled rails going to be obsolete in the future and replaced by modified razors? |

I think you are on the wrong site to ask that question... My guess, most people here will say a Buggy is better. In my opinion, it really depends what you want to do with it and how much do you want to spend. Are you looking for something to Trail Ride? Race? Hill Climb? What kind of trials? How much do you want to spend? Modified Razors are 2X or 3X the cost of a buggy. |

$16,000 to $18,000 for a Razr plus $8,000 to $10,000 in modifications.....We better hope the economy gets better. I will stay with the VW they have steer brakes and i can still drive when the front tires come off the ground. |

i'm gonna say a buggy for sure i ain't seen a razor that will follow me yet and i don't think i ever will plus my buggy is a lot safer with 20 + rolls on it over half are barrel rolls 3 to 5 times its as held up great with no injurys but god watches over fools and drunks and i'm 0 for 2 on that when i'm riding i would stick with a buggy until it kills me i wander if i could be bury in it i bet it would piss the devil off when i show up in it |

I think I am on exactly the right site to ask this question. It doesn't matter if it's trail riding, hill climbing, racing, on any trail choice. Looking 5 to 10 years down the road, I see these razr's becoming faster, safer, and more modifed than ever in the future. Of course cost plays a major role now. 20k Razor vs 5K buggy. Eventually, I think the price of new razr's will continue being high, but older model can be purchased and upgraded for a price within reason. I wonder if fab shops will start creating razr style buggies. Smaller, lighter, and powerful. Now you go to Chocolocca Mountain and see several hundred full size rails with a few razr's mixed in. Tomorrow are we going to see several hundred modified razr's with a few full size rails mixed in. |

when im sitting on a trail having issues with my rail and see a razor come by i get to thinkin man it would be nice to be in that right now. but once i start mine up running on all 4 or not theres nothing like a rail its gotta be in your blood im with the buggys the whole way and i think there are plenty more that feel the same way

Vw is in my blood now and I'm with Jeff on lettin them try to follow us they cant hang. Don't get me wrong I'd love to have one but $$ is retarded what ppl are payin for them, put 20-30 grand in a buggy or cd and ppl will be like Tim Cameron who???? Put a shut down on the rzr talk |

I like the idea of being able to put a buggy on the street. You can find ride spots that are connected by short sections of roads and ride for days. No matter what they do to a rzr a buggy will always look better. They look like top heavy trucks with tiny little tires. I have loved the look of a buggy since I was a kid. Rzr will always have it's place and they are impressive, just not for me. I would own one with a truck bed to use for work or around a farm but not for the woods. Not now anyway. Ask again in 5 years when I'm 40 and Ive totally changed my mind.

I own both a buggy and a SxS (Commander) and they have their place. I dumped a lot of money in my Commander just to get it where I can moderatly keep up with the the Buggys. Where we normally ride I prefer my Buggy 2:1 over the Commander. The main reason is the much larger foot print and tire diameter. I feel much safer in it and it has a lower center of gravity with 6" more ground clearence. I will say that the 4 wheel drive on the Commander makes it climb like a billy goat. Will the SxSs replace the Buggys, probably not however they will look and feel more like buggys as time goes by. Artic cat has already done that with their new Wildcat and others will follow. |

I agree with you Ody..I can see these sxs's really taking off. Alot of people want buggy's like ours, but they might not have the knowledge to work on them or maybe it is easier to purchase a sxs and if it tears up, have your local atv shop fix it. |

They are reaching a larger crowd with the sxs. For people that have limited knowledge and wrenching ability they still are now able to hit the trails with the big dawg buggies. |
