So my work has taken me 4000 miles away from home for a couple of weeks to the Czech Republic... During my stay i decided to go to a local museum... Tatra Technology Museum in fact... I saw some amazing things while there... I wanted to sare some of them to my fellow woodsbuggy friends... Many cars dated back to the early 1900's all the way into the 1980/90s... most of them were air cooled and all of them including their big trucks have swing axle transmissions...
so in the back of this car that was built in 1936:

was this engine:

which happens to be an air cooled 90hp V8
with this transmission:

I just thought that i would share some these pictures with everyone... i hope you atleast liked them..
I aslo saw this:

A 4 wheel drive buggy that was built in 1987 and is still raced today.. I believe it also won some races in 2003 and 2005...
the front axles:

The engine:

The brakes were all mounted inboard of the axles...
and standing next to this monster was great!!!!

I hope all have enjoyed the pics..
