I put my fitting on the bottom of my spun aluminum tank and over tightened it and split the fitting on the tank a bit question is there anything i can use that will stick and seal good to that beings gas is seeping out of the crack now or should i just look into having it welded |

Wait a minute, There are certain steps you need to take before it can be welded. #1get the gas out #2 now you need the vapors out too and that can bedone by sticking the tank up to the exhaust outlet on you daily driven car right where you would fill it up . Dont fill it with water and think that will work it would still go BOOM. If i were you i would have welded by a exp. person. soon as read this i new that would make the news at ten o'clock. |
