I think it must have been because of difficulty with the program so it was simplified to only 2 classes,,,I think we need to work this bug out and get the C class back in.

I agree marty, I over heard afew people that wasnt very happy with a few of the guys that they had t compete with in B class. I understand why willie did what he did, just to put the sandbaggers in a class that they belong in or closer. But it also put the c class guysin a class that they didnt have a chance at. We need to come up with something to stop this. It never seems to amaze me that a couple buggys sound like they barely have any power on the east quaifying hill but in the cmp they run like a wild animal. If I can see this oters can to and it needs to be stopped. It is running competitors off because they know that these people a screwing them. In the off season this year we need to come up with someway of fixing this problem.

make the qualifying hill challenging enough so you cant just be easy on it and if you have dnf due to not being able to climb it they get put in c class

Jesse that wont work because the same people that are sand baging now will just not make the climb. Its a hard thing to stop but its got to be done. If you would be at some of these events you could see it for yourself.

x2 on the wont work kevin

heres my take, sandbaggers are gonna find a way to do it most likely regardless and each has there own reason for doing it, but short of just coming out and saying " you, you, and you....... (and so on) have to run in "?" class or classes there is no way of totally eliminating the problem of sandbagging, ultimately we have our rules for this year and this is an issue for the "state event teams/co-ordinators" to discuss next year 8)

You got that right it was a hell of a choice of hills. You willie and tim did a great job. The park officials were very un professional and the 4x4 guys that rode there were not to pleasant. I never once felt like we were welcome there. Im not in any way knocking the even, it was prolly the best hill selection yet. As far as our group(woodsbuugy.com), you couldnt ask for a better group of people.

Simple way to get ride of sand baggen is add your fastest qualifying time with your fastest class time and divide by 2 and they will put a 100% in every run.

That will help I think but I dont think it will stop it. Some of the guys that I think are doin this can still qualify slow and make up their time in the comp.

Average time is allready the plan from the commitee. It is what we did last year, not sure why we stopped.
