Is there different types of boggers? The reason I ask is, I have a set I am going to regroove and I think they are 4ply. But I have seen some boggers with alot of meat cut off, like for instance the one's on Firebugs buggy. I was just wondering how much i can cut off my tires, and if there are two differen't kinds of boggers? I plan on going at least to the 1st cord or further if permitted. |

i would say if they are new just cut off the small lugs but if yours are used go on and cut to cords did mine that way and had no problems loosing parts of my tire |

dont cut them all the way to cords,,,about 1/16 of an inch from the cords and they will last forever,,,all we run down here is boggers,if u cut to the cords a small sharp rock and u got to put a boot/patch in tire |

Thanks for the input guys. chris I look forward to riding pickwick this year I hear it is an awesome place to ride. And yes I do dread the grooving process but is has to be done. These boggers can't be worse than the dico v treads 8 ply that I cut to the cords this past summer |
