no thin skin here mike, lol

was just letting you and red know he didn't have the a/c buggy anymore, its just that he was asking about where to buy fuel and it seems like almost every thread here lately has somebody preaching w/c but especially if they asking carb, cam or other a/c related questions, I think somebody else has took over dd's podium

I really f ing hope not. I'm a water cooled guy, no hiding that fact. And I'll throw in a jab or two but DD needs to come back down to earth because I'm even tired of hearing pisshit this and passhat that.

Guys Mouse was asking about what fuel we run, his crawler is a water cooled Subie. Myself and several others choose to also run late model WC engines. The fuel we run is the same as the fuel in our daily drivers, redily available inexpensive doesn't even figure in considering that cam 2 use to be 4 bucks a gallon.

There is little doubt that Ferdinand Porsche designed a great engine back in post World War I Germany. They were and still are the best selling car of all time and the number of them that still are in use today is a testimate to good engineering. Ask Darrell just one AC guy that I know that runs a fuel injection system the benefits!

I just can't afford to spend $5,000.00 dollars on a long block AC monster. Just my two cents. I think we all like to poke fun at each other once in a while. The AC vs. WC debate has been raging since the days of the Chevy Corviar.

Lmao.

I live 100 yrds from a race shop and it's 42.50 for 5 gal of 111. Real convenient for buddy's that ride with me.
And he sells everything you need to build a badass anything. Every once and a while he will throw a drag motor on a dyno and cut it loose. Make the hair on arms stand up from my house. Awesome. Probably one of the top 5 engine builders in Alabama. He told me he first started out building vw motors a loooong time ago now he builds some of the baddest v8s around. Pretty much has the equipment to do everything but poor the blocks. M&W motorsports. That's how we got all them trophies up in the shop. Sponsored my dad for ab 15yrs. Awesome guy
