You will need to cut a hole just big enough to get the boot and collar on the m/c through.then mark your two bolt holes and drill them and bolt it up.surely we can find you a brake rod or you can make one.or open that wallet up and get you a new hydraulic set.welcome to the group. Chad

your right about the push rod that might be a junk yard part.

Figures. Got your pics.

Next problem, drained the oil and it was a little milky. Either prior to now or when I was washing it all down, water got in there somewhere. I've pulled the gas tank and the exhaust. Looks like I'll be digging out the motorcycle jack and pulling the motor. Probably needs to be gone through anyway. The guy I bought it from said it had been rebuilt. He also said it didn't leak and he had just changed the oil. So far, he's been full of shit.

I would love a hydraulic set. Nothing in the wallet but moths right now and they are starting to look a little thin. Maybe one day, right now I just want to get her on the road.

I guess I should start a project/build thread, lol. Looks like that's what this is turning in to.

you need to finish cutting out the big circle and drill holes to mount the m/c.

Yeah, I figured as much. just one more thing to add to the list.

Started a build thread, since this is turning into a major project.
