As many of you know, FortyDegNorth bought some wheel adapters from Ridge Rider for $80 bucks and Ridge Rider took the money and never sent the adapters.

http://www.woodsbuggy.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=109&jfile=viewtopic.php&f=7&t=14993

I do not know what happened to Ridge Rider but I think FortyDegNorth has been extremely patient and courteous but enough is enough. It has been over a month and Ridge Rider will not answer his phone messages, text messages or even his email.

I know that we can have our differences on the site but now is a time to band together and support a fellow buggy rider.

If you would like to help, please call Ridge Rider at (502)542-0253 and ask him to contact FortyDegNorth. Lets see him ignore a few hundred calls a day.

This is our site and we need to take care of one another....

Nothing against 40 but I thought we could not discredit anyone on here.

I got a response from RidgeRider. He said, "what's the deal the text from 10 different people??? I sent the adapters two times already. The first time I got them back. The second I have not seen them since. If he doesn't have them I don't know??? I will send him another set out today."
Sometimes guys it's just a communication problem.

a returned call or a response to messages and this post would have never been put on here. if you sell something to somebody through the mail anything can happen...keep in touch so there is no miss understandings. problem solved.

I completely agree.. This is just a communication issues.. From what I am reading, Ridge Rider has not been returning voice messages, text messages or emails. He might want to confirm the address with fortydegnorth.

He did confirm the address with me the first time they were returned. Not sure what is going on. I have ordered hundreds of parts and never had a problem getting them. Just got two parts in the mail yesterday. If he is checking, here is my address:

4230 Maricarr Dr.
Kettering OH 45429

Thanks for all the help but I do feel "ridge rider" is an honest guy. That being said, just return my messages and calls. I understand things get lost in the mail but pay for tracking or ship a different courier. I would have paid a couple extra bucks to be assured they arrived. If both sets show up I will return the extra. I have no reason to screw someone over.

I for one get busy some times and can't get back with some one quickly. I think ol Ridge Rider was thrown under the bus a little too soon :oops:And as much shit as I catch on here for being my self I think It was a cowardly post to come on here under a different name with the first post and do this. Sounds like something Partyhunter would do :!: GROW A SET

Rock, i completly agree,,I have friends that get a lil sassy if i dont return their txt as soon as they think i should, I carry 2 smart phones, one is a company phone, the other is my personal. I also happen to work outside in the elements and often down in a ditch/trench..i leave my phones in the truck so they dont get ruined. I always check my phones about every hour and will return txt, calls if those calls or txt require a responce. However, it does sound like he should have followed up with the buyer esp. if there was already a shipping problem to begin with....just sayin

Every shipper uses tracking numbers to verify delivery so it's as easy as logging onto the shipper's webpage and entering the tracking number to see where the shipment is, when it will be delivered or who signed the receipt.

It was through paypal. Shows it's gone so I assume the payment went through before he shipped them the first time.

Make sure you file a dispute with paypal within 45 days after you sent the payment, and you will get your money back.
This is assuming that you didn't send the money as a gift.

Thanks for the advice maddog. I didn't realize you had to do that in 45 days.

Lots of good discussion on here but I am a fan of the mob influence... I am going to keep on calling and leaving text messages until Ridge Rider gets in contact with fortydegnorth.

I agree there should be some follow up especially if there was a issue first time around ( i hate getting ignored, especially for something ive already paid for ), but I also agree with rock that its kind of shitty to sign up under a false name and make 1 post just to start some shit, if you got something to say, right OR wrong, man up and say it
