I have been out of buggies for a few years now, I've been doing the jeep thing. I have been think about building a new buggy and getting in on the hillclimb series. Is there any rule that says what engine to run. Thinking about going with ecotec.

No rules on engine. Main thing is roll cage, seat belt harness, helmet , secure battery and fuel tank, no bolted tires ,etc.
