i just recently put a 1 wire alternator on my buggy now its still charging but my volt gauge is allways burried at 18 volts the battery is brand new can i maybe have wires to the voltgauge hooked up wrong my idiot light still goes out this just happened over night it was reading god one night and the next time i went to start it this is when the volt gauge went all wacky |

Did you measure the voltage at the terminals on the gauge to assertain if it is any good? |

i did with my volt gauge when i first got it and it was at 14 amps |
