I'm helping my brother hook up a set of dual fans from a Nissan Maxima that is going on his buggy. It has two sets of wires going to each motor. Does anyone know how these hook up? Does it have two speed fan motors or what? Thanks, Huey |

Hey Huey, thanks for the link. I found some good info for my Saturn engine that I didn't kow was on there. I would like for the pcm to control the fans but I also found an aftermarket relay with a sensor that mounts into the radiator itself. Not sure how hard it will be to wire up the pcm for control but thats what i would prefer. What did you end up doing? |

My brother just hooked his up to a relay that is turned on by the ignition switch. Not the best idea, but hey, he just wants to go to D&K Saturday morning. I think he plans on using an external controller like you can find in jegs. My fan is connected to the megasquirt fuel injection system and comes on when the temperature reaches 185 and goes of at 180. I can just program the temperature from a PC. |
