It would offer a bigger clutch disc and there are aftermarket disc too. Suby starters are abundant. Saves a tad of weight and a tad of thickness offset . I hope the price will drop some. |

No dought thats the best way to go. The adapter plate concept leaves a little bit to be desired. I will be putting lower motor mounts on project for the additional strength. With the added motor weight and HP and the fact your threading into a 5/8" piece of aluminum concerns me. Also High performance clutch systems are avalable for the Subarus that will handle a 2.5 Turbo charged STI motor at 300 HP. |

You spend more than that. If you get one of these you can use the flywheel, starter and clutch from the donor car. This is a little high but it still saves you money. |
