Was wondering if there was anyone running a GM 2.8, 3.1 or 3.4 in their buggy? Looking to get one this weekend for mine. Any problems/issues with the install? How is the performance? Dependability? Pics?

Thanks in advance.

Not to many folks running cast iron motors, too heavy. Besides the 2.8L 60 * V-6 wasen't known for it's performance ability or longevity, I know I junked a bunch of them. Think all aluminum motor.

If you do decide to run one, stay away from pre 86 motors as they had rod bearing problems. I'd stay away from them completely. As previously stated, much better choices are available.

Eggman I have only had one weekend with it but I loved my 2.4l H.O. DOHC Pontiac this weekend. Aluminum block, EFI hevey enough to make me dig in better then the A.C.'s. But it's only been 1 run so far, if it does good all next summer my 2nd buggy will end up with the same setup.
