i am kicking around the idea of using a 2.0 motor and 5 speed trans out of a 98 jetta. I would like to use the fuel injection but i am wondering what i would need to do to the computer, and why. Would i be able to use a electric fuel pump? my other worry would be is the gearing to steep for the woods? Any comments or concerns or ideas would be greatly appreciated |

You shouldn't have to do anything with the computer, its just like when guys put that motor in a Rabbit.. the loom will need stripping (the same loom will have all the lights, turn signals etc in it) Your problem will be with the transmission... the ratios aren't great..thats why passat2800 welds the diff and sends the drive to a differential off a Pontiac (? IIRC) |
