i got this from a friend of mine off of their facebook page and if anybody can confirm feel free do so

"It was announced that there will not be Christmas trees at the White house this year. They will be called Holiday Trees. Obama says this is no longer a Christian Country, it's a country of many faiths. We as Americans must send the message to Obama that this Country was founded on Christian beliefs and weare STILL a Christian Country. Please re-post this and let's stand up for CHRIST!!....."

i cant confirm this, it may true or not, but it really wouldnt suprise me either

There has to be a "Supreme Being", (God).And to match all nationalities and ethnic groups, God must come in different forms such as Budha, Alah, Jehova,Mohamed. Aslong as every one loves their neighbor and loves and fears their God and respects each other's form of their God this could be a great planet. When people look thru the LOCKED pearly gates, they will see all different flavors of people not just white folks from America.

its not meant to discuss religion if thats what you mean but rather the direction of the government and country has taken in the last few/several years in general, and like i said it may be false everybody knows how crap gets spread on facebook so i was wandering if anybody on here knows if its true or not (surely somebody stays on top of news and politics more than me ), i also heard something about some kind extra tax on christmas trees but that got delayed or so ive heard, but then again i cant confirm that either

besides theres been a few complaining about the site being slow so i thought this would help out stiring the pot :roll: :lol:

Hmmmm, I will avoid my brand of religous talk. But I am surprised we have not ever had a jewish pres yet. I would have thought that would be the first time this became a real issue. And I heard something on the radio the other day regaurding the Xmas tree tax too. Fine by me, we have a fake tree due to the dogs and the water. I think ours would go up like the griswalds, lol.

This would be as bad as me buying a flag at a yard sale to pit in my garage And when I pulled it out it had a tag made in china , just ain't right ! Needless to say it was not hung up !

I can't speak for everyone else, but at my home it will always be a Christmas Tree. Never a Holliday Tree!

Couldnt agree more WF, just wish X-mas wasnt all about shopping. And why do they start selling christmas stuff at holloween now, lol. I am getting tired of the decorations in the stores allready and it isn't even thanksgiving yet.

That aint no S#@T... :roll: Do they call him Santa still??? I hear in the ghetto they just call him "Uncle Sam".... He brings $30 apartments and free (for the person taking it... not us) college and he even "LEAVES" the cookies and milk.... :wink: Mine is still a CHRISTMAS TREE as well! 8)

This shit is KILLIN me. Muslims can celebrate Ramadan, Jews can celebrate Hannakah, but GOD fearing Christians can't even have a CHRISTMAS TREE. WTF, Isaid, WTF??? It will be a Christmas Tree here too, and I won't be spending a dime anywhere that dosen't call it a Christmas Tree, or CHRISTMAS. :evil: :evil: :evil:
