i should have already posted this for those interested in contacting new parks to host events but copied it from ron Quote: "keep in mind guys , when talkin with the parks here are a few things we usually require for the hillclimbs ! all parks last year provided this : 1:concessions close to the hillclimb site ! 2:port o lets ( at least 2 )! 3:park matches hillclimb entry fees to be paid out to winners ! 4:local emts on site ( we have people take up donations for their time there & they get in park free of charge ! )" also there needs to plenty of room for an "operations/sign up" tent and of course all the competitors and there buggys along with spectators and there rides then there needs to be 3 hills for A, B, and C class on the same hillside in close enough proximty without a major relocation of equipment and people |

requirements aren't carved in stone like first year. It just depends on the payout,,,if you dont care about payout,,,,park don't match,,,,if you do care about payout and parks don't match,,,then get creative,,,call sponsors, sell raffle tickets for donated parts, sell hot dogs,,,, whatever you can come up with. EMT's are required and pay them with donations ,,portapotties are nice but makeshift barracade for the ladies might work,,,,,,,places that are not "pay to ride" still need to be legit,,,,if possible,,at least permissions from owner of parking area. We should never play where we are not welcome. No " organized trespassing" . |

There are alot of people who did a great job last year making this run smooth even when Marty couldnt make it. Hope we can go that smooth again this year. |
