I have rebuilt my own tranies 3 or 4 times. the last time i blew it up, i talked to brian in canton, and he told me what to order from weddle, and when i recieved the parts i brought the parts and the tranny to his house, and he charged me about 175 bucks, what a deal. thats the way i would go. |

A wise man once said "There are some things best left to the experts"! I will leave it at that. |

I have rebuilt a half a dozen or so, but I won't do it any more. There is a hell of lot more to it than just boltin parts in it. This is the reason that I sent mine to Rancho. Thats all they do. everyday. build transaxles. I'm NOT saying that your local tranny guy isn't good, its just piece of mind going where all the "big boys" get theres built. It was $100 each way to ship, so I had to call it "parts for work" to ship it one way free |
