I like that tilted engine look. I run suby and could use the added engine to ground clearance. I am redoing my rear tranny mount and wonder how much to raise the rear of the tranny. Yall give me some pointers please.

I like that tilted engine look. I run suby and could use the added engine to ground clearance. I am redoing my rear tranny mount and wonder how much to raise the rear of the tranny. Yall give me some pointers please.

You can tilt it as much as you want but you need to be careful you don't over do it. To high in the rear and your CV angles will start to get high. You might start binding them and need to reduce your ground clearance to compensate. Not a good thing. R |

We did Steve's like Larry said, tilted the front down and the rear up and it keeps the cv flange in close to where it originally was. |

Dave and I put mine in with the front lowered about 1 1/2 and raised the rear 1 1/4. Then we mounted the engine by the suby not the bell. The bell bolts are just above the v-dub trans mount. I will go out and take some pics later. |
