Hi guys,
I having some problems with my clutch slipping.
I have the 1st peddle assembly/slave on this page. (not the best but I thought it would work for a while).
http://www.dansperformanceparts.com/bug ... ytcbh2.htm

It releases at the top of the travel (about 1" to 1-1/2" from the top).
I have adjusted the cly. from the shortest length to 2-1/2 inch longer. It doesn't seem to change the release position (still at the top)
When I make it longer, all it seem to do is push the piston farther into the cly.
This gives it a shorter stroke but it never gets free or loose.
Any suggestion before I buy a different cly?
Norm

Is the clutch master cylinder 3/4 bore? That is the size they recommend for the slave cylinder. Slave cylinder should be adjusted so that it is not loose but clutch lever is completely disengaged...

Yes it 3/4" bore.
It never gets loose. It just pushes the piston in or pulls it out when I adjust it.
I'm using the stock cable mount on the trans.
After writing it down I'm thinking that maybe it in a bind and that why the piston is getting pushed in.
I'm not sure.

My buddies buggy did something like what you are describing and we ended up changing the slave cylinder and it fixed the problem.

I have a brand new CNC hydraulic slave cylinder I will sell you at a discount. My new buggy has a cable clutch so I really don't need this thing sitting around. PM me if interested.
