Can anyone tell what ring and pinion ratio this transmission should have by the numbers?
Is there another method to tell with the engine installed?

The letters there are DU. I found this site with codes and ratios: http://rjes.com/html/gearbox_types.html Looks like it should be 4.86:1 |

Just an FYI the 094 trans are 5 speeds. Most of the Vanagon side and mid shifts are still an 091 4 speed. |
