Yes it can be done. Thats what I have now and it works great. You just have to use the mid section from the nose shift. I would recomend letting someone do it that has done it before. Chuck Jones is my choice of tranny builders.

I've go a side shift 091(not mid shift in the case but on the nose cone) Can it be converted to nose shift with a donor tranny? I've looked aronud on the forums here and can't seem to find a definite answer |

In theory all your doing is putting your gears into another 091 transaxle. Your doing the same thing if you use the guts out of it to repair a broken 6 rib. |

I know of a fella near merango that does them, but dont have his # or know if he would even do it. |
