Wow I used to love those ole automatics. It makes a neg. contact anytime you move the shifter to operate an electric vave to release vacuum to pull the clutch lever. It had a 2.5 :1 torque converter, type 2 and 3 had 3:1.Awesome. :o

Brandon, put ya one in that 4-seater, since you already deemed it a trail rider by putting that rice/water-pumper on the back of it! It'll make it easy to drive for the wife and daughter. Even the little guys when they get the itch to drive. Bruce's wife Angela has one on her buggy and she LOVES it. Her buggy does great, she never has a lick of problems. (well, besides Brucey hollerin in her ear coaching her  ) It really might be something you could look into, since you're building yourself another buggy to play in.

It would for sure. I wish I wouldve put one in my wifes buggy instead of going thru all the crap I been thru trying to make a full automatic work out.

If you build her a single seater, make sure you put a waterpumper on it if you don't want her to smack you around! If you put a good running VW on it, it's all over for ya. She'll be smackin' pops around all the time!
